Dries Cancer Diet

Dries Cancer Diet

The most essential food in this diet is the pineapple, known to be a valuable cancer treatment food. "The Dries cancer diet is based largely upon the consumption of raw fruits, mostly tropical fruit such as pineapple and mango, as well as certain raw vegetables, seeds and condiments such as yoghurt, buttermilk and some oils. The basis of the selection of these foods is their bio-energetic value measured in bio photons, which apparently have an effect upon resistance to cancer." See the book: The Dries Cancer Diet: A Practical Guide to the Use of Fresh Fruit and Raw Vegetables in the Treatment of Cancer. "Based on the author's research with over 300 cancer patients, this book explains the relationship between food, cancer and environmental factors."

We have lost control over the cancer problem. Statistics indicate that within the European Union 2,500 people are diagnosed with cancer daily.

Cancer has been lifted out of its narrow medical context. It is a social problem closely related to a materialistic way of life, environmental pollution, stress, emotional disorders and, especially, food.

Only man and his pets suffer from cancer. Wild animals do not get cancer unless it is caused by serious environmental pollution.

It is a symptom of degeneration caused by an unnatural feeding pattern and an unnatural way of life.
The human has always been a frugivore - that is, a fruit eater - by nature. The famous palaeontologist Richard E Leakey has proven that beyond doubt.

We do not need meat. Meat is a rather unhygienic foodstuff that spoils easily. Because man is not by nature a meat eater, his digestive system is not suitable for processing meat. There are many meat eaters among cancer patients.

When someone is struck by cancer, the need for clean food suddenly increases. In 1990 the American Cancer Research Centre examined a number of foodstuffs and discovered substances with a favourable influence on recovery from cancer. In Germany Dr Lothar Schweigerer and Dr Theodore Fotsis of the famous Heidelberg Teaching Hospital carried out similar research. They were mainly interested in fruit and vegetables.

In a recent magazine article, nutritionist Prof. Dr Leitzmann of the University of Giessen says: "Phytochemicals or secondary plant substances have been neglected for years; now they are our preferred substance." Phytochemicals are found in vegetarian food and have a restraining influence on cancer.

Dr Jaak Janssens, associated with the cancer research department of the Dr Willems Institute of the University of Diepenbeck, Belgium, claimed that the daily use of 400g (14 oz) of fruit reduces the chance of cancer by 50%.
The Dries diet is a fruit diet. It helps cancer patients switch back to the food their digestive system is made for.

Turn to the light

To apply the Dries diet correctly, we start by dividing the foodstuffs into seven groups, according to their bioenergetic value. The first three contain foodstuffs with very high bio-energetic value (BEV). The other groups are complementary.
Foodstuffs in the seven groups grow above ground and do not include any root crop or tuberous plant.
`Daily use of 400g of fruit reduces the chance of cancer by 50%'

Bio-energetic value is determined by light. Plants are structured in such a way that they are capable of absorbing as much light as possible. When we eat plants, that sublimed solar energy ends up in our bodies.

Cancer patients need to absorb as much energy as possible so that their sick bodies use up as little as possible of their energy reserves.

Pineapple is on the menu every day during the first period. A pineapple plant in bloom can be compared to a radar station with 100 or more radar units. It attracts a lot of light.

The diet holds no dangers and there are absolutely no side-effects. One major condition has to be fulfilled: the patient has to apply the diet strictly for a certain period of time.

People who follow the Dries diet eat exclusively raw food for the first three months. This is the only way for them to absorb unspolt proteins, sugars, fats, vitamins, minerals, enzymes and other substances, all of which provide them with biophotons with a high intensity. Biophotons are units of light energy. The diet provides the perfect acid-base balance, which makes it impossible to break the rules of correct food combination.

People are very concerned about vitamins and minerals nowadays but still do not realise that by heating food, vitamins and minerals are destroyed or made inactive. From the bioenergetic point of view, heat only brings chaos. Heat makes the BEV drop to such a level that it cannot even be measured.

Complementing chemotherapy with the Dries diet is highly recommended. It limits the side-effects, allows the defence mechanism to recover and helps the body get rid of toxic substances more rapidly.

The diet cannot be forced on anyone. If patients are not fully convinced of the value of the diet, there is no point in applying it. The diet consists of two fruit meals complemented by a vegetable meal. By eating everything raw, the dieter cleanses the entire organism.

During the first week old habits have to be run down one day at a time. That way some of the old eating habits can be replaced by a part of the new diet every day. Start with one fruit meal a day and then take two fruit meals a day.
Some people want to switch over to the diet from the first day. I usually recommend against doing that because body and mind need time to adjust.

Fruit has to be very ripe and preferably of biological quality. If possible, fruit should be ripened after it has been picked. It should be sliced with a sharp knife and eaten piece by piece.

Small pieces of fruit should be left to melt in the mouth, because that is the best way to eat fruit. Most people eat fruit far too quickly. If fruit is eaten slowly, the sugars are released slowly. There will be a feeling of repletion in no time.
