Abstract:The article discusses the study which explores a novel hypothesis that links obesity and toxins. By considering the role of toxins in obesity and altered function of the neuro-endocrine-immune and mitochondrial and redox systems, and by making a comprehensive strategy for both the reduction of exposure to and elimination of toxins, and the development of effective clinical strategies, the treatment resistance in obesity may be more addressed.
