Abstract:The article assesses a study regarding the diet which can lessen risks of cardiovascular disease (CVD). The study examined which among Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet, diets high in monounsaturated fats and diets rich in plant protein can best reduce the risk for CVD. The diets were used in trials for 191 subjects. The study indicated that the best diet would still depend on individual patients.
