Abstract:The article reports on the findings of a study concerning the benefits of protecting the eyes from sunlight and consuming high levels of antioxidants in reducing the risk of developing age-related macular degeneration. It cites how the study was conducted by British researchers. Estimated lifetime exposure to sunlight and measured blood antioxidant levels were evaluated.
