Abstract:The article discusses the factors that influence premenstrual syndrome (PMS) and the effectiveness of nutrition and herbal medicine in treating the syndrome. Nutritional diet is considered to play a big role in treating or avoiding symptoms of PMS as well as regular exercise. Several herbs are also recommended for natural treatment of PMS. Patients with PMS should decrease their consumption of animal fats and increase their consumption of vegetable oils.
