Need Your Paxil Withdrawal Stories...Writing a Book

Tagged:

Hi,

I'm a registered nurse from Tucson, AZ. My husband is a doc and is heavily involved in research and is currently director of State office of Rural Health. We are writing a book that will be full of personal stories of attempting or success stories of coming off Paxil. We need to make physicians, and drug companies aware of our cries for help and especially the horror of coming off Paxil and the disasters it can create.

Triggers such as stress, rapid weight loss, or hard physical exercise seem to cause the release of these stored medications into the body and cause drug-induced side effects long after the last pill was taken. These include dizziness, metallic breath, nausea, depression, anxiety, diarrhea, and other symptoms.

That's why you must be extra cautious when exercising or trying to lose weight. going for "the burn" can spell trouble, particularly in the work-outs involving leg muscles, such as running or mountain biking. Try yoga, tai chi, walking or swimming instead.

Weight loss diets can also trigger the release of stored drugs, so focus on a well-rounded, healthy, diet and let gradual weight loss happen naturally..."
